Clint Eastwood (1930- )
Eastwood’s first film, Revenge of the Creature (1955), appeared a year after he moved to Los Angeles, California, to become a film star. He gained fame with his TV role in Rawhide (1959-1967) and appeared in three “spaghetti westerns” directed by Sergio Leone and filmed in Italy. He also played “Dirty Harry” in five films from 1971 to 1988. Unjbrgiven (1992), which Eastwood also directed and produced, won the Best Picture Oscar.
